Grasslands National Park is in mid southern Saskatchewan. There are 2 Blocks, east and west. There is a 2 hour drive between parks. Honestly, despite being free, they were a little underwhelming. It was interesting and I am glad we did it, but it was just underwhelming. Perhaps it was the weather not allowing us to explore. Nonethe less, I was pleased to see the Bison and the Gophers and the Saskatchewan Grasslands and Badlands.
In our next episode, we travel southern Saskatchewan, sleep under a grain elevator in Manitoba and high tail it to Ontario.
