World of Tanks Cromwell is a British tier 6 medium tank.

The Cromwell was developed in 1941–1942 by BRC&W. A total of 1,070 vehicles were mass-produced from late 1943 through 1945. They were extensively used by the British Army in the Northwest Europe Campaign of 1944–1945.

The Cromwell, or "Crommie", is a generally well-liked medium tank with impressive maneuverability that no other tier 6 medium tank can offer, but at the cost of rather weak armor. Its Vickers HV gun is comparable to the German 75mm L/70, making it suited for high speed flanking maneuvers and also long and medium range fire support. Beware the unusually poor dispersion values, try to get in close for flanking. Its impressive power to weight ratio and maneuverability can allow it to actively scout as well as zig-zagging to easily avoid enemy fire, though the radio leaves something to be desired.

World of Tanks T49 is an American tier 9 light tank.

A variant of the M41 light tank with an enlarged turret and 90-mm gun. Trials started on May 5, 1954. The trials were a success, but the tank never saw mass production due to lack of interest from the military authorities.

Imagine the KV-2 with small size and agile speed; This is the result of insane combination of the deadly "derp gun" and mobility. When stock, The T49 is just a Bulldog with higher hit points, lower speed and camo ratings. But when it received the deadly 152mm gun, The T49 became to one of the most dangerous enemy you'll face in Tier 9 - 10 ranks, especially if you played lightly armored tanks (Such as in the French line). Its deadly gun can deal up to 1000 damage and can do serious module damage to your tank if lands a critical hit. In exchange, it only has mediocre speed for a light tank and very poor accuracy.

Recent gameplay changes has now allowed the T49 be a consistent damage dealer with the changes to the 90mm gun allowing it to fight with other light tanks or medium tanks without resorting to expensive HEAT rounds.

The T49 leads to the XM551 Sheridan.

World of Tanks E 75 is a German tier 9 heavy tank.

In 1945 the E 75 was conceived as a standard heavy tank of the Panzerwaffe to replace the Tiger II. It existed only in blueprints.

The first heavy tank in the Entwicklung series, this tank has thick frontal armor that comes with excellent sloping at the front. Stock, it is armed with the inadequate 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71, but can also use the 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/68 from the Tiger II, so make sure to research it before using the E-75, unless you want a terrible grind. Eventually, you will have access to the very powerful 12.8 cm KwK 44 L/55 that packs a sizable punch up close or afar, albeit being relatively unreliable at range (in contrast to earlier tanks). As such, owing to the great armor and devastating weaponry, it is an excellent brawler, perhaps the perfect definition of one for Tier 9. The E-75 has sluggish acceleration, making it difficult to move around. While the E-75 is one of the easier tanks to flank, it is still harder to damage once flanked thanks to its relatively thick side armor.

Speed and agility aside, it is a versatile tank. You can be a close range brawler relying on your brutish armor and firepower to keep you alive, but due to the poor vision, merely average penetration, poor gun handling, and low DPM, sniping like previous tanks is unadvisable. The E-75 is one of the most dynamic heavies of its tier, with thick hull and turret armor coupled with an excellent gun. In situations in which your armor does not hold out against enemy fire, you have enough hitpoints to last while you're under fire.

The E 75 leads to the E 100.

World of Tanks Object 430U is a Soviet tier 10 medium tank.

The Object 430U is a version of the Object 430 medium tank with a rear placement of the engine-transmission compartment. This version was to feature a transverse placement of the engine and two planetary transmissions. This technical solution allowed for extending the interior space and decreasing the vehicle's weight. This vehicle was developed from 1953 through 1957 to replace the T-54, but the work was discontinued in favor of the Object 432 in 1961.

This tank is literally a "Heavy Medium" tank with various characteristics from both a heavy tank and a medium tank mixed together. It has decent mobility, but not as good as other mediums, good armour protection, but not as good as other heavies, and relatively good gun handling considering its mobility and armour. It's best played as spearhead tank that can lead a charge , or as an anti-medium that can fight well against lights and mediums due to its good armour, mobility and firepower.


The Object 430U marks the end of its Soviet medium line.

World of Tanks AMX AC mle. 46 is a French tier 7 tank destroyer.

Proposed plan for a heavy tank destroyer on the basis of the M4. Development was started in 1946. The configuration of the vehicle had a strong resemblance to the Jagdpanther. Existed only in blueprints.

The AMX AC 46 is a completely different vehicle to the preceding ARL V39. It has some decent frontal armour, a decent gun selection, and unprecedented mobility in the French tank destroyer line. Unfortunately, these good traits are marred by numerous flaws that are not apparent in the garage.

World of Tanks Jagdtiger is a German tier 9 tank destroyer.

Developed from 1942 through 1944, the heavy tank destroyer, with the chassis of the Tiger II heavy tank, became the heaviest mass-produced armored vehicle ever. According to various sources, 70–79 tank destroyers were manufactured from 1944 through 1945. The vehicles saw service in the 653rd and 512th Heavy Panzerjäger Battalions.

The undisputed "King" of German tank destroyers before the 7.5 update, and by some still considered to be better than the Jagdpanzer E-100, the Jagdtiger offers thick frontal armor and a selection of two heavy guns capable of dealing massive damage to any target. Due to its high weight, it is slow and unwieldy. The gun mantlet, while thick, shots which hit it still manages to damage the gun. If de-tracked, or attacked from the rear or sides, it will die easily and quickly . Do not approach this tank from the front even if you have a gun with sufficient penetration; it will probably be the last thing you see before becoming a smoking wreck. This tank destroyer is best played with one or two mediums acting in support role, defending its sides and rear. It has large weak spots, as with most German tanks, on the lower glacis plate. There are several places with guaranteed penetration, but those are yours to find. Either way, drive or attack this tank destroyer with caution.

Note that the Jagdtiger in World of Tanks is the Henschel version with 9 wheels on each tracks.

The Jagdtiger leads to the Jagdpanzer E 100.

It notably differs from majority of French tanks for having impressive amount of frontal armor, but is notably less mobile than AMX 50-serie heavies or FCM 50T, while also lacking autoloader of formers. Like pretty much every French tank, M4 49 has very poor side armor, so its expectionally vulnerable to flanking.

World of Tanks T-34 is a Soviet tier 5 medium tank.

The legend of the Soviet armored forces and the most widely-produced Soviet tank of World War II, with a total of 33,805 vehicles manufactured. Three variants of this model were produced at several Soviet factories from 1940 through 1944.

From a player's point of view, the T-34's almost mythical reputation in real life leads some to believe that it will be a kind of "wonder tank" in-game. However, given that tiers represent the time periods of the tanks; and that the nations are idealised and able to produce anything they like; while the T-34 was one of the most famous tanks of World War II and the spiritual grandforefather of almost every modern MBT, there are much better competitors available. In terms of stats, there are two main guns. The 57mm ZiS-4 gun is a great gun for its tier, with a high accuracy and fantastic DPM. The 76mm S-54 is a brawler's cannon not unlike the heavies with poor aim time, and indeed used to be available on the original Tier 6 KV-1S, but trades alpha for reload. The turret itself has decent sloped armour for its tier of roughly 60mm all-round and the hull is on the thin side but very well angled. With mobility, the T-34 is average and is only on par with other tier 5 mediums, but with a decent top straight speed for cruising. All in all the T-34 is not a grind by any stretch of the imagination, and it can be a truly deadly weapon on the battlefield if used properly.

World of Tanks Bat.-Châtillon 25 t is a French tier 10 medium tank.

A medium tank with an oscillating turret and a 90 mm gun. Developed by Batignolles-Châtillon in the mid-1950s. Two prototypes were manufactured. The vehicle never entered mass production.

Built by Batignolles-Châtillon society at Nantes, the Batignolles-Châtillon 25t, often known in-game as the "Batmobile" or "Batchat", lives up to its reputation as one of the game's best assassin tanks, fit for many roles which include but are not limited to Scout, Sniper (when using the 100 mm SA 47 gun), Flanker, Brawler and Artillery hunter, with a high mobility and powerful gun it's capable of devastating any tank that it encounters.

Keep in mind that once your shell drum is depleted (5 or 6 shells, depending on the gun), the gruesome reloading time will make you a very easy prey, and the very thin armor will not save you from any kind of shell as it relies on its mobility as a sort of protection. It also has rather poor aim time so you need to get close while moving or stay hidden to fully utilize its awesome cannon. While it can hold ground on its own, it is best used on high-risk high-gain encounters in the mid-late part of the round, preferably with another medium tank as support.

The Bat.-Châtillon 25 t marks the end of its French medium line.

World of Tanks E 50 Ausf. M is a German tier 10 medium tank.

The German Army demanded that the E-series tanks had transmissions positioned in the rear. However, the E 50 and E 75 tanks used the Tiger II engine-transmission compartment, which allowed engineers to work faster, but made rear placement of the transmission impossible. The E 50 Ausf. M tank was a redesign of the E 50 project with the transmission placed in the rear.

A tier X medium that actually has armor other tier Xs should pay attention to, the E 50 M is a spearhead and sniper tank that is comfortable both staying back and picking off hitpoints at will, or getting into the face of (or simply around) isolated or overconfident opponents. A consummate master of flexibility in battlefield roles, the E 50 M allows the expert player to flow smoothly from one task to another, and thus, allows other tanks to do their supposed jobs properly in order to attain victory.

The E 50 Ausf. M marks the end of its German medium line.

The JagdPanzer E-100 is one of the two tier X German Tank Destroyers. Also known as "(The First) Death Star", "The Broomstick of Doom", or "Jageroo", Anyone who has been struck by the massive gun of this tank,and surprisingly lived to tell the tale, will warn you steer clear of it, if it happens to find you.

This tank features a massive 170mm cannon that bears striking resemblance to the artillery gun on the GwTiger and GwTiger(P). Dealing an average of 1050 damage a shot, the JagdPanzer E-100 can strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest tankers in World of Tanks. The alpha of the gun has the ability to bring down even tier X tanks with one or two shots. To balance the massive power of this tank, it has been given a horrid reload time, matching that of some artillery vehicles, so it is highly recommended that this tank be accompanied by a few others. The armor protection of this tank is actually quite good, the only true weak spot on the front of this monster is the lower armor plate, but when the tank is fought at an angle, even that can be difficult to penetrate. Never underestimate this tank, as doing so will cost you roughly half of your tank, if not all.

The Jagdpanzer E 100 marks the end of its German tank destroyer line.
